Frequently asked questions
Can we bring our phone numbers to Teams?
Yes. Existing phone numbers can usually be transferred to Teams. We clarify this together with your provider and handle the porting.
Does Teams work without Microsoft 365?
Teams is part of Microsoft 365 and works best in combination with it. There is also a free version — we advise you on what makes sense for your situation.
What about data protection — can employees be monitored?
No. Teams is not a monitoring tool. All conversations are encrypted. As an administrator you only see what is needed for IT administration — not private chats or content.
How long does the rollout take?
For most SMEs Teams is ready to use within 1–2 weeks. Including training we plan 3–4 weeks for a rounded rollout.
