Our story
Digital Airways GmbH was founded in 2025 by two passionate entrepreneurs from Basel: Dario Tomas and Cesar Moreira. Both shared a common frustration they observed among Swiss SMEs — companies drowning in paper processes and missing out on digital transformation.
The turning point came during a conversation with the quality manager of a Basel manufacturing company. He showed them 47 different Excel files used to track customer complaints — a system that barely worked, was not audit-ready and swallowed hours of valuable working time every week.
That conversation was the spark for Digital Airways. The founders identified a critical gap in the market: Swiss SMEs needed digitalisation solutions built on the familiar Microsoft 365 infrastructure that can be implemented in weeks — not years.
