A normal website shows static content. Power Pages is a real portal — with login, personalised data, forms and a live connection to your systems such as Dynamics 365 or SharePoint. Each user only sees their own data.
Do our customers need a Microsoft account?
No. Power Pages supports various login methods — Microsoft, Microsoft Entra ID, but also custom logins by email and password. Your customers don’t need a Microsoft account.
Can the portal run on our own domain?
Yes. The portal runs under your own domain (e.g. portal.yourcompany.ch) — fully with your branding, with no visible Microsoft reference for your customers.
What does Power Pages cost?
Microsoft licenses Power Pages by the number of authenticated users per month. For external users (e.g. customers) there are separate models. We work it out together — honestly and transparently, without surprises.
