Report, track and analyse accidents and near misses

Anyone reports by QR code, in seconds and without an account. The accident report is filled in on the official Suva forms 109 and 913, and every incident leads to an action so it does not happen again.

More than 60 companies trust our solutions. From CHF 110 per month.

In short

How does a company report a workplace accident digitally?

In Switzerland the employer reports an occupational accident without delay to its accident insurer, such as Suva. Digitally, the incident is captured on the spot, the details flow into the official form and cause and actions are tracked in the same system. In the Safety App employees, temporary staff and contractors also report near misses by QR code, without signing in.

Why incidents often get lost today

  • Near misses go unreported because the process is too cumbersome
  • The accident report is written twice, once internally and once for the form
  • Causes are not analysed, so the same thing happens again
  • An accident statistic for management takes a lot of manual work

How incident management works in the Safety App

Report by QR code, no account

A posted QR code is enough. Anyone reports an incident with a photo, without an account or sign-in, with abuse protection. Temporary staff and contractors report what would otherwise go unmentioned.

Four types, four severity levels

Accidents, near misses, dangerous situations and property damage, each in four severity levels. The picture stays complete, even below the threshold of an accident.

Official Suva forms 109 and 913

The accident report is filled in on the official Suva forms and issued as PDF. Nobody copies the details a second time.

Actions and analysis

Every incident becomes an action with an owner and a deadline. The management report pulls the figures together for any period, as PDF and Excel.

Frequently asked questions

When must a workplace accident be reported?

The employer reports an accident to its accident insurer without delay once it learns of it. The insurer’s form defines the details required. The Safety App fills in the official Suva forms 109 and 913.

Do near misses have to be reported?

Accidents are reported to the insurer, near misses are not. Reporting them internally is still very worthwhile, because every near miss reveals a hazard before someone gets hurt.

Can people without an account report?

Yes. Through a posted QR code anyone reports an incident, without an account or sign-in, with a photo and abuse protection.

How does this produce an accident statistic?

All incidents are recorded by type, severity and site. The management report analyses them for any period and can be saved as PDF and Excel.
