In short

What belongs to a company’s emergency organisation?

An emergency organisation includes an emergency plan, trained first aiders, first aid material and an evacuation that is practised regularly. It is one of the ten points of the safety system that industry solutions use to implement EKAS guideline 6508. The Safety App keeps the first-aider register with training level and validity, checks material and defibrillators and documents drills with a report.

Frequently asked questions

How many first aiders does a company need?

It depends on size, hazards and how quickly emergency services can arrive. The hazard assessment and industry rules are decisive. The Safety App shows how many first aiders with valid training you have per site.

Is an evacuation drill mandatory?

The employer must make sure employees act correctly in an emergency. Regular drills are the usual way to evidence this. The Safety App reminds you annually per site and documents the drill.
